flat images split on some window sizes

I've got an odd behavior going on here...

http://marlincreek.com/demos/asdemo.html

When launched in a pop-up window everything works fine.
It typically works fine when viewed in a full window.

However, if I go to a full screen view (f11) or I don't have my menu bar showing the flat still photos act funny.... when I zoom all the way out, the image "splits" and shows half the image on the left and half on the right (like the image was moved to the left on the screen). On top of that, only the image on the left responds to any pan / zoom input.

Then, when I zoom in just a bit, it shows correctly.

The images are labeled as flat and I'm using...

as needed.

Of course, this only happens on my laptop with a widescreen format.

Any thoughts or suggestions or other info I can provide to help figure this one out?

Thanks,
Graydon

Re: flat images split on some window sizes

I am having trouble reproducing this. Can you give me some more info? A screenshot of what you are seeing probably helps, but I would also like to know what browser you use, what screen resolution, and the graphics hardware could also make a difference.

screenshots...

- this is how it appears when first loading the tour.

- once I've zoomed in some... where it looks normal... and then zoomed back out, this is what I see.

- notice how the "image" on the right stays put and how the menu bar at the bottom looks different between the right and left sides... also, only the image on the left will move, but only up/down as it still acts like it's extended horizontally to it's extremes.

- I've dropped the status bar and menu bar and now it works fine.

This happens on all of these...
FF 2.0.0.14
IE 7.0.6000.16643
Safari (for win) 3.1.1(525.17)

Screen resolution is 1280x800

Computer - Toshiba Satellite A215 w/ AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-56
Win Vista Home Premium
graphics hardware - ATI Radeon X1200

I think that covers all of the basic info that you asked for. : )

Thanks.

probably the graphics card

I did a search for info on the graphics card and kept coming up with info about how this card has problems with some things. It was also considered the culprit in at least one pano editing software that I tried but couldn't get to work (at least according to the mfg).

But if anyone else is able to reproduce the errors on a 15" wide-screen laptop, please post info here.

Thanks.
