crash with SPY-V

Hello,
I am a new user of SPI-V and I did not succeed getting any demo. I am on Os X 10.3.9; I have downloaded shockwave 11, SPY-V engine version 1.2 (how to get more recent ?).

when I try to open SPI-V engine I get a message "this application requires shockwave Player 10, which cannot be found. click OK to download it" ... the clic on "OK" does not do anything !

From Safari or Firefox, I try to open gallery and when I click on a thumb the apllication crashes !!!??

Help appreciated.
