fieldOfView | SPi-V devUTR: 1.4b5 not working in Opera

hi aldo,
today i wanted to evaluate the progress of 1.4 again and downloaded the latest beta.
unfortunately when i swap the .dcr on my server with the renamed .dcr of 1.4b5 the viewer doesn't show anything.
i then checked this with 1.4b2 which works fine.
i didn't alter html and xml files, just renamed the .dcr
i desperately need a working sound functionality of spi-v!

we are talking about this file:

actually it runs with spi-v 1.3 and therefore will not play sound.
when i change the spi-v.dcr in the specified directory to verion 1.4b2 i will see the panorama and hear the sound.
when i change the spi-v.dcr to version 1.4b5 i will only see the html but no picture and hear no sound. all other panoramas on the server are linked to the same *dcr. and won't play with 1.4b5 (using xp pro and opera latest version, but is all the same in ie 7).
i didn't touch anything else, just changed the version of the spi-v.dcr
oh - and i would still be very happy if you could correct the node specifications for the sound node ;)

Could you give it a try with SPi-V 1.4 without the protocol and domain in the swURL parameter?
name=swURL value="/panorama/benediktbeuern/biergarten.xml"
instead of
name=swURL value="http://www.schrader-air.de/panorama/benediktbeuern/biergarten.xml"
This will probably not work with SPi-V 1.3, but it should work with SPi-V 1.4 beta 5. Let me know if that changed anything.

i also tried to locate the dcr in the same folder with the rest. with no luck.

Strange, it works just fine loading the files from your website using SPi-V 1.4b5 from fieldOfView.com (after allowing Shockwave to download the files cross-domain):

Could you download SPi-V 1.4b5 again (clear your browser cache!) and try to repro the problem on a 'parallel' document? (ie: name the beta SPi-V14.dcr and create a copy of your html file referencing the beta SPi-V14.dcr instead of SPi-V.dcr)

ok, wie are getting closer :)
with the new version in ie it works fine, no matter which swurl.
in opera it works only when spi-v14.dcr is in the same folder with the other files.
when i put it into another folder it will not load the picture, no matter which swurl.
oh, and opera crashes when i close the window with the picture.

I have tested beta 5, using Opera 9.21, and I still can't get it to 'not work'. Once more, can you give me a link to a copy on your site, so I can try to reproduce the problem?
I edited the title of your post as it seems your problem is isolated to Opera. Is that correct?

i made a couple of tests and name changes.
all i can tell by now is that it seems to work.
even with a spi-v.dcr (from 1.4b5) in the common folder.

unfortunately my installation of opera 9.21 still crashes when i close the tab with the picture.
