UTR: get wrong results with pan/tilt/fov in latest beta
Submitted by Jürgen Schrader on April 15, 2007 - 20:33.
aldo, these days i am playing a bit with the latest beta and today i figured out, that the settings for pan/tilt/fov i take from spi-v spotter generate a different result when used in the latest beta. i checked this by simply switching to the *.dcr from the latest release and the settings came out as expected.
cheers jürgen

That's interesting, I will look in to it. Any pattern you can recognise?
Re: get wrong results with pan/tilt/fov in latest beta
uh, no - i didn't recognize any "pattern". but if it helps i can post a link to my sample.
Re: UTR: get wrong results with pan/tilt/fov in latest beta
I am sorry, I see nothing wrong with spotter and SPi-V 1.4
Please provide more info. Specify 'wrong'?
Re: UTR: get wrong results with pan/tilt/fov in latest beta
I tried again and also on existing panos on my website there is a significant offset at the start of autopano compared to the last release of spi-v.
What I mean is that the picture starts far more to the right and for tilt I think it's too far up, but I am not sure about it. Hwen I switch back to the feault spi-v release everything is fine.
So I think if you try it on a sample it should be repeatable.
If you would like to examine one of mine take for example the hot airship at

I also can send you any file you want.
