Hybrid shiftlens viewer

Description

The shiftlens extension to SPi-V changes the viewing perspective to simulate a shift-lens or hybrid tilt/shift-lens, instead of a tilting camera normally used to view panoramic scenes. Using a hybrid tilt/shift-lens to view panoramic scene partially prevents the extreme converging of vertical lines when looking upwards or downwards.

How to use

Embedding the shiftlens viewer in HTML is similar to the normal viewer, see the included HTML file in the download. The shiftlens viewer accepts both panoramic images in simple mode and XML files.

Limitations

Using metering and/or hotspots leads to unexpected results
